To keep your tools in tip-top condition, please follow these helpful tips on how to look after each one.

Clay cutters

Be gentle with your clay cutters and handle them with care as they are durable but indestructible.

Cleaning

Wash your cutters in lukewarm soapy water and let them air dry, they are not dishwasher safe.

I always wipe my cutters with a gentle baby wipe between uses to avoid colour transfer and deter a build-up of clay, especially with the smaller and more highly detailed cutters as clay getting stuck in the crevices is inevitable.

You can use a small tool or needle to remove these stuck pieces of clay after each use.

Storage 

Store carefully to protect the blades and keep your cutters away from direct sunlight and strong sources of heat as they can warp.
